Localscapes Series

Wednesday, May 10 from 01:00PM - 03:00PM

Iron County Water Conservancy District will be holding a FREE Localscapes Series in Cedar City at the Visitor’s Center (581 N Main, Cedar City). This class includes sessions on May 10th and May 11th from 1:00-3:00pm. Registration includes both days of classes.

The Localscape approach is a series of landscaping patterns and practices that takes into account Utah’s unique climate. It’s good landscape design, simplified. Now you can have a landscape that works for where you live.

In this course, you’ll learn why our current landscaping style in Utah isn’t working, and the five steps to landscape better in Utah. At the end of the course, you’ll be ready to start “localizing” your own landscape.

Whether you’re installing a new landscape, renovating an existing yard or just completing landscape projects one at a time, the Localscapes method will work for you. Localscapes will help you create better landscape functionality, less yard maintenance, enhanced curb appeal, lower water bills, and simplified irrigation.
